Please provide a brief introduction to yourself and the company you work for

I am Sarah Dayus and I am the Sales Director for Great Gizmos and we supply a wide range of science and craft kits to the UK market. Our kits have fantastic educational and play value, and really inspire creativity and learning in a fun way.

What is your favourite part about working in the toy industry?

Definitely the people – both our brilliant buyers, and competitors too. Everyone just gets along and has a good time. It’s a fun industry to be a part of.

Give us the inside scoop, what products are you launching at Toy Fair 2023?

We have some new launches in our most popular ranges, KidzLabs and Mould & Paint, that we are very excited about. Come and see us on stand G20 to find out more!

What trends do you predict for the Toy Fair industry in 2023?

We feel the trend towards less or zero single use plastic is going to be big this year!

How many years have you exhibited at Toy Fair 2023? Any favourite memories?

We have been exhibiting at Toy Fair for 26 years! Our favourite memories are stand set up as we always have a laugh, and we have absolutely loved all the Fence Club Toy Fair Parties.

What is your favourite toy?

Hot Wheels! Mainly because my son is completely obsessed and I get a break whenever he is playing with them!

What top tip would you give to a fellow exhibitor or visitor attending their first Toy Fair?

Embrace it and have fun! Comfy shoes are a must!
